When I was deciding to draw an animal I wanted to do red squirrel which lives in my country. I adore squirrels. When searching for a photo though I found a photo of this incredibly cute Japanese squirrel called Ezo Flying Squirrel. I couldn't believe this was a real animal and not made up. I really wanted to draw it.
